Fabian Spiess signs Notts County deal

Notts County goalkeeper Fabian Spiess has signed a long-term contract with the League One club.

The 19-year-old German made seven appearances for the Magpies last season as they secured a 12th-placed finish in the table.

"It feels great, it's been going on for quite a while and I'm really glad that it's finally done," Spiess told the club's official website.

"The main thing was the chance to play - I think I've got a good chance this year of playing some games."

Spiess joined County as a trainee in 2010.
