Notts County make four signings

Notts County bring in four players on short-term deals ahead of their weekend clash with Walsall.

Former Ipswich Town striker Ronan Murray is one of four trialists to have signed a short-term contract at Notts County.

County have suffered defeat in their opening two League One fixtures, and manager Chris Kiwomya has moved to try to change their fortunes.

Former Republic of Ireland youth international Murray is the most notable newcomer, having made 13 appearances on loan at Plymouth Argyle last season.

Jeremy Balmy has penned a deal after being released by French club Le Harve, while 19-year-old Jordan Holt has joined from St Mirren.

County's final signing is Callum Bennett, who like Murray came through the academy at Ipswich.
