Nottingham Forest lineup vs. Crystal Palace: Predicted XI for Premier League clash amid Callum Hudson-Odoi concern

Any hope for Hudson-Odoi? Predicted Forest XI vs. Palace

Nottingham Forest head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has been dealt an untimely injury concern over Callum Hudson-Odoi ahead of Monday's Premier League trip to Crystal Palace.

The ex-Chelsea starlet came off at half time in Thursday's 2-0 loss to Brentford with a suspected hamstring problem, and even the most minor issue in that area will surely not heal in time for the jaunt to Selhurst Park.

However, Santo is not exactly short of options to fill in for Hudson-Odoi, as all of Nicolas Dominguez, Jota Silva and Ramon Sosa could deputise for the Englishman on the left-hand side.

Dominguez was given the nod in midweek so is seemingly at the head of the Hudson-Odoi replacement queue, but Anthony Elanga, Chris Wood and Morgan Gibbs-White's spots are surely safe.

If Wood finds the back of the net on Monday, he will become the first-ever Forest player to score 10 Premier League away goals in a single season, but Taiwo Awoniyi may be ever so slightly hopeful of a start after Santo admitted that he will need to manage his squad carefully.

With at least a couple of rotations surely on the cards, forgotten man Ibrahim Sangare might be one of the beneficiaries, joining Elliot Anderson in the middle of the park as Ryan Yates drops down to the bench.

As Ola Aina has only just come back from injury, he could also be spared as Neco Williams switches to the right flank, thus allowing Harry Toffolo to come in on the left-hand side.

There should be no change to the central defensive make-up, though, as Murillo and Nikola Milenkovic protect undisputed number one Matz Sels, still leading the way in the Golden Glove race.

Nottingham Forest possible starting lineup: Sels; Williams, Milenkovic, Murillo, Toffolo; Sangare, Anderson; Elanga, Gibbs-White, Dominguez; Wood
