Miller fined by FA for Twitter comments

Nottingham Forest forward Ishmael Miller has been fined £2,500 by the Football Association for comments made he made on Twitter.

After criticism from fans following the 1-0 defeat to Coventry on October 15, Miller tweeted: "I don't wanna hear anything bout I didn't look interested! Everyone can f**k off if don't like it don't follow me."

The 24-year-old, a £1.2m summer signing from West Bromwich Albion, later apologised for his outburst: "I apologise to the fans for my language but I heard one fan say I was passion- less, (that's) so far from being me I apologise."

New Forest boss Steve Cotterill has threatened to fine players £1,000 per word for any comments made on the site relating to club matters.
