Dougie Freedman delighted with Nottingham Forest determination

Dougie Freedman praises Nottingham Forest for their response to falling behind in the 2-1 win over Bournemouth.

Dougie Freedman has revealed his delight after watching his Nottingham Forest side come from a goal behind to beat Bournemouth 2-1 at the City Ground.

Goals from Jamaal Lascelles and Henri Lansbury handed Forest a fourth win in five games under Freedman after Andrew Surman had given the visitors an early lead, and Freedman was impressed by the team's response to the setback.

"It was a disciplined performance," the Forest boss told reporters. "We stuck to the gameplan and it was a victory for determination and team spirit. I was delighted to see the boys bounce back after going behind.

"We grew into the game and that really pleased me. We embraced the challenge that came towards us."

Forest are currently ninth in the Championship, 12 points outside the playoff places.
