Report: Newcastle United to increase Florian Thauvin bid

Newcastle United will reportedly make an increased bid for Florian Thauvin after having a £12m bid for the Marseille winger turned down.

The 22-year-old is thought to be valued at over £15m by the French side, who have already seen the likes of Andre Ayew and Dimitri Payet leave for the Premier League this summer.

According to The Mirror, the Magpies are reportedly considering a deal involving Remy Cabella as a makeweight.

Thauvin joined Marseille from Lille in 2013.
