Report: Newcastle to sign Florian Thauvin, Marseille get Remy Cabella on loan

Newcastle United are close to agreeing a deal with Marseille for Florian Thauvin, with Remy Cabella going the other way, according to reports.

The 22-year-old winger signed for Les Phoceens in 2013 from Lille, making 67 appearances and scoring 13 goals for the South of France outfit.

According to The Metro, Marseille are willing to accept a £12m bid from Newcastle, although they are eyeing up the possibility of taking Cabella on loan as part of the deal.

Newcastle have already signed Chancel Mbemba, Georginio Wijnaldum, Aleksandar Mitrovic and Ivan Toney this summer.
