Newcastle United have completed the signing of Dutch international Vurnon Anita for an undisclosed fee.
Anita completed his medical at the club yesterday before finalising a five-year deal for an amount thought to be around £6m.
The 23-year-old holding midfielder joins the Magpies from Ajax, having made 138 appearances in six years at the club.
Newcastle open their Premier League campaign at home to Tottenham Hotspur on August 18.
