Moussa Sissoko: 'Queens Park Rangers match still a huge challenge'

Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko is adamant that his side face a massive test to take a victory from their clash against Queens Park Rangers.

Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko has insisted that his side will face a huge challenge to take all three points from their match against already-relegated Queens Park Rangers.

The Magpies ended an eight-game losing run in their 1-1 draw against West Bromwich Albion last week, but still remain just two points clear of the relegation zone with two games remaining in the campaign.

Sissoko is adamant that his side will have to battle extremely hard to earn the victory at Loftus Road, despite the plight of Chris Ramsey's men.

He told the club's official website: "QPR is a massive game for this team and the club. When you play in the Premier League it doesn't matter where the team are in the division - every game is different but every game is hard.

"QPR are already relegated but will still make it difficult for us because they now have no pressure on them. What is important is that we go there with confidence, a week of good training behind us and go to win the game.

"We got a good point against West Brom last weekend but we cannot stop now. We have to keep going and get the points we need in the final two games. We have to show good character again."

John Carver's side face QPR at Loftus Road later today.
