Demba Ba speaks out over reported abuse from Den Haag fans

Demba Ba has hit out at the Den Haag fans that reportedly shouted racist abuse at him and his Newcastle United teammates during a pre-season friendly.

Ba was one of several players reportedly targeted in Holland, and although he did not hear anything during the game, he hit out at the reported behaviour after the match.

Ba told The Chronicle: "I did not hear it because I was focusing on the game.

"If they do that, they are really stupid dudes. They have to grow up.

"People have to man up. There are many people on earth and you have to be responsible."

Newcastle have privately raised the issue with Den Haag.
