Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa settling in at Newcastle United

Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa has revealed that he has settled in well at Newcastle United.

The 23-year-old arrived on Tyneside last month from Ligue 1 side Montpellier.

Despite the fact that he has found the weather to be quite cold, the centre-back has insisted that he is "liking" his life in England.

"I'm liking my life here in Newcastle," he told the club's official website. "I'm getting to know the city a lot better and little by little finding places that I like.

"The players who were already here have given me some good tips of great places to go and I'm looking forward to looking around a little bit more. It's just a little bit cold, perhaps - but I'm starting to get used to it."

Yanga-Mbiwa has made three appearances in all competitions for the Magpies.
