Ryan Taylor ruled out for next season?

Newcastle United defender Ryan Taylor will reportedly miss the whole of next season following knee surgery.

The 29-year-old recently went under the knife in America after damaging his ligaments twice during the last campaign.

However, the recovery process could mean that Taylor will not feature at all until August 2014, according to The Sun.

Taylor joined Newcastle from Wigan Athletic in 2009 on a four-and-a-half-year deal.
