Newcastle United striker Nile Ranger has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving, according to the Mirror.
Sources close to the player have said that the 20-year-old has been placed on bail, pending the results of a blood test, after he was stopped by police.
Ranger had previously been arrested in August on suspicion of assaulting a man in Newcastle city centre.
The forward signed his first professional contract with the Magpies in 2009.
