Newcastle United reach deal for Papiss Cisse to wear Wonga shirt?

Newcastle resolve Cisse dispute?

Newcastle United have reportedly reached an agreement for striker Papiss Cisse to wear the club's new shirt bearing new sponsor pay-day loan company Wonga.

The Senegalese forward has been in talks with the club after initially refusing to don the logo of the club's sponsor due to his Muslim beliefs.

Despite his initial stance, Cisse has agreed to wear the club's new kit next season following reports that the dispute could force him out of St James' Park, according to Sky Sports News.

The news comes after a photograph emerged appearing to show Cisse at a casino gambling, which is also prohibited by Islam.
