Newcastle United's Tim Krul 'won't be hampered by shoulder injury'

Krul 'won't be hampered by injury'

Newcastle United's goalkeeping coach Andy Woodman has insisted that Tim Krul will be back to full fitness next season.

The Netherlands international required surgery after dislocating his shoulder in the last few months of the 2012-13 campaign.

"He will come back next year and his shoulder will be fine," Woodman told The Chronicle.

"We will have two very good goalkeepers at Newcastle, not counting the ones coming through."

Krul will have to fight Rob Elliot for the number one spot.
