Tim Krul delighted with "best" save

Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul praised his 'best ever' save following the club's 1-0 win over Norwich City on Sunday.

Krul, 23, denied Canaries defender Zak Whitbread at close range in the second half of the match, and the Dutchman admitted that he was delighted with the victory.

"That save was up there with my best. It was an important win for us, especially at home. These are the games we have to win," Krul told Sky Sports News.

"I am really pleased with the three points, especially after Monday night."

Newcastle have consolidated sixth spot in the Premier League table.
