Newcastle United's Papiss Cisse confident his goalscoring form will return

Papiss Cisse is confident that his goalscoring form will return at Newcastle United.

Newcastle United forward Papiss Cisse is confident that he will start firing in front of goal sooner rather than later.

The Senegal international has failed to score in his last 13 Premier League fixtures with the Magpies, netting only one in a Capital One Cup win over Leeds United.

"I will score goals this season," Cisse told The Chronicle. "I have not forgotten how to score a goal. I believe in myself and I feel I am coming close to good form. I am sure it will happen for me soon."

Cisse scored 13 goals in 14 matches in his first season for the Magpies when he moved to St James' Park in January last year.
