Yoan Gouffran misses out for Newcastle United

Newcastle United will be without Yoan Gouffran for tomorrow's Europa League tie against Metalist Kharkiv.

The Frenchman is suffering with a leg injury that he picked up during the 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur last Saturday.

However, fears that he had broken a bone have been ended by the results of a scan, which showed that there was no lasting damage.

Hatem Ben Arfa and Sammy Ameobi have also been ruled out with knee and hamstring injuries respectively.
