Reports suggest that Napoli are planning to steal Spanish midfielder Michu from underneath the noses of Manchester United and Liverpool.

Napoli have set their sights on Rayo Vallecano's creative midfielder Michu, according to reports in Spain.

The 26-year-old, who has also attracted interest from Premier League rivals Manchester United and Liverpool, has scored 15 goals this season.

According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Napoli are planning to perform a smash-and—grab £10m raid for the La Liga star.

Michu, real name Miguel Pérez Cuesta, joined Rayo Vallecano last summer after his contract at Celta Vigo had expired.
