Fire at Napoli hotel

Serie A club Napoli had an incident-packed afternoon as they prepared to take on Manchester City in the Champions League this evening.

A fire broke out at club's hotel in Castel Volturno this afternoon and the fire brigade were called.

No-one was harmed in the incident, although a number of rooms had to be evacuated as a precautionary measure.

Meanwhile, the wife of Napoli midfielder Marek Hamsik was held at gunpoint earlier today before her car was stolen.

The vehicle was located by police two hours later and she was unharmed.
