John Marquis extends Portsmouth stay

Millwall striker John Marquis has his loan spell with Portsmouth extended by a further month.

Millwall striker John Marquis has had his loan spell with Portsmouth extended by one month.

The 21-year-old, who has scored twice in five games since joining the League Two outfit in September, will therefore be available for Tuesday's clash with Wycombe Wanderers.

It had been suggested that Millwall were keen on recalling the striker, but his initial four-week spell has now been extended until November.

Portsmouth currently sit 15th in the League Two table.
