The Lions have been searching for a new manager since Kenny Jackett stepped down last month, with a number of names linked with the London outfit.
However, according to Sky Sports News, St Johnstone have handed permission to Millwall to speak to their manager.
Steve Kean and Alex McLeish are also believed to be in the running.
