Ian Holloway: 'Not going our way in front of goal'

Holloway: 'Not going our way'

Millwall manager Ian Holloway has admitted that his side need to improve in front of goal if they are to avoid relegation from the Championship.

A victory over the league's bottom side would have pushed the Lions clear of danger, but Charlton Athletic held their opponents to a goalless draw at The Den.

"We've got to lock things down better and we will be doing days an days on it," Holloway told reporters following the game. "We're not scoring from set-pieces. We've got a clean sheet, though, and were never threatened.

"It's just not going for us in front of goal. There's a great bond in the squad and they are trying their hearts out for Millwall.

"We just need more luck. Nobody wants to be where we are."

Millwall are back in action with a trip to face Leeds United next weekend.
