Half-Time Report: Millwall, Barnsley level at half time

Millwall and Barnsley have played out a goalless first half in their Championship encounter this afternoon.

Martyn Waghorn could have put the hosts ahead in the eighth minute with a right-footed shot from outside the box, but his effort flew just wide of the right post.

Waghorn was wasteful yet again in an opening 20 minutes that saw very little goalmouth action, this time as the Millwall man let fly with his left only to see the ball go wide.

Millwall continued to dominate possession and went close through Guy Moussi, who saw his effort blocked from close range, before Waghorn was again denied by the Barnsley keeper.
