Chicharito strikes twice on eve of birthday for Mexico

Javier Hernandez scored twice on the eve of his 25th birthday as Mexico drew against Nigeria in a friendly in Houston, Texas.

The Manchester United frontman put Mexico ahead midway through the first half before Nigeria went in ahead at the break thanks to Ideye Brown's penalty and Gerardo Torrado's own goal.

Hernandez's second came in the 70th minute as the match went on to finish 2-2 at the Reliant Stadium.

Meanwhile, Hernandez has been linked with a move to Italian champions Juventus.
