Everton eye Morgan Amalfitano move?

Everton are reportedly lining up a move for Marseille midfielder Morgan Amalfitano.

Everton are understood to be considering a move for Marseille midfielder Morgan Amalfitano.

The 29-year-old Frenchman spent last season on loan with West Bromwich Albion, scoring four goals in 30 appearances.

However, he is reportedly eager to leave Marseille this summer following his spell in the Premier League.

Toffees manager Roberto Martinez is now keen on bringing Amalfitano to Goodison Park as a replacement for the injured Ross Barkley, according to Goal.com.

Barkley was recently ruled out for up to five months with a serious knee injury.
