Marseille have got their Ligue 1 campaign off to the perfect start with a 1-0 win away to newly promoted Stade de Reims.

A tight match of few chances was goalless at the break, with Reims coming closest through Kamel Ghilas.

A Marseille side featuring Chelsea target Cesar Azpilicueta upped the tempo in the second half and found a spectacular winning goal with 13 minutes remaining.

Benoit Cheyrou struck a superb volley after latching onto a cross from Charles Kabore to give Elie Baup's team the victory.
