Manchester United make it four wins on the bounce while Arsenal drop points once more in gameweek 13 of the 2021-22 Women's Super League season.

Manchester United Women made it four successive victories in the Women's Super League with a resounding 3-0 success against Tottenham Hotspur Ladies on Sunday.

Goals from Leah Galton, Hayley Ladd and Vilde Boe Risa propelled Marc Skinner's side up to second in the rankings, with leaders Arsenal Women now within touching distance.

After opening the year with that dampening defeat to Birmingham City Women, Arsenal's lead at the summit was cut to two points against Manchester City Women, with Jonas Eidevall's side narrowly avoiding defeat thanks to Tobin Heath's injury-time equaliser.

Man United's fourth successive win saw them rise to second at the expense of Chelsea Women, who played out a draw for the first time in the 2021-22 season as Brighton & Hove Albion Women stood firm in a goalless stalemate.

Taking a leaf out of Man United's book, Reading Women made it four wins on the bounce themselves by seeing off Birmingham 3-2 to keep the pressure on the top five.

West Ham United Women's unbeaten streak also continued with a comprehensive 3-0 drubbing of Everton Ladies, and the basement battle between Leicester City Women and Aston Villa Women ended with Carla Ward's side taking the spoils 2-1.

WSL RESULTS IN FULL:

Brighton 0-0 Chelsea
Leicester 1-2 Aston Villa
Man City 1-1 Arsenal
