Report: Arturo Vidal agrees to join Real Madrid on four-year deal

Vidal 'agrees terms with Real Madrid'

Juventus striker Arturo Vidal has agreed to join Real Madrid on a five-year contract, according to reports.

The 28-year-old was said to have been a target for Manchester United and Arsenal until they allegedly lost interest following a drunk-driving incident in Santiago.

According to Chilean newspaper La Tercera, Real Madrid have no such concerns over Vidal's off-field issues and have moved to agree terms with the player, although they are still to agree on a fee with Juve.

Vidal has impressed for hosts Chile in the Copa America, where he is expected to start in the final against Argentina on Saturday night.
