Manchester United close to signing youngster Luis Jose Hernandez?

Manchester United could be close to signing Costa Rican starlet Luis Jose Hernandez from Deportivo Saprissa, according to a report in the press.

Manchester United are reportedly close to signing Costa Rican prospect Luis Jose Hernandez.

The Metro, which cites a source in the country's local media, has suggested that the Old Trafford club have been keeping tabs on the player after he had a trial under previous Reds coach David Moyes.

The 17-year-old plays his football for Deportivo Saprissa, and can feature either as a winger or at left-back.

Louis van Gaal's charges currently find themselves occupying fourth spot in the Premier League standings.
