Manchester United chase Axel Witsel

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is reportedly keen on Benfica midfielder Axel Witsel.

The 23-year-old signed a five-year deal with the Portuguese club last July, but has since attracted a host of European sides.

Benfica will not entertain offers of less than £20m, however, according to The Sun, for a player with 27 Belgian caps to his name.

Witsel has scored four goals in 34 games for Benfica this season.
