Inter Milan are reportedly considering a summer swoop for Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund, who is also wanted by Juventus and Napoli.

Manchester United forward Rasmus Hojlund is reportedly wanted by Inter Milan this summer.

The 22-year-old started at the focal point of attack for the Red Devils as they lost the Europa League final to Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night.

Hojlund and his United teammates have endured a woeful campaign, with the English giants sitting 16th in the Premier League table with a single match remaining.

Featuring in 31 top-flight matches across the 2024-25 term, the Danish marksman has managed just four goals, underwhelming some sections of the team's fanbase.

Six goals from 11 appearances in the Europa League makes for better reading for Hojlund, who could be on his way out of Old Trafford this summer.

Inter Milan exploring move for Man United's Hojlund?

According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, a new name has thrown its hat into the ring as the race for Man United flop Hojlund intensifies.

The report claims that Champions League finalists Inter Milan are 'considering a move' for the 22-year-old ahead of the summer trading point.

As well as the Nerazzurri, it is understood that both Napoli and Juventus are in the hunt for the signature of Man United's Hojlund during the off-season.

It is believed that the aforementioned duo 'made calls' to the Red Devils in March to discuss the availability of the 24-time international.

Inter are known to be content with their first-choice strike force of Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram but are seeking new backup options.

Hojlund's United future

Starting Man United's ninth European final, Hojlund has some level of trust from head coach Ruben Amorim, who is looking to rebuild the fallen English giants.

Hojlund was lacklustre at San Mames as the Red Devils were defeated by Spurs, who ended their 17-year trophy drought in the Basque Country.

With Man United targeting moves for the likes of Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap, it is hard to envisage Hojlund being first choice at Old Trafford next season.
