Thiago Silva wants Wayne Rooney at Paris Saint-Germain

Paris Saint-Germain defender Thiago Silva has called on the French outfit to move for Manchester United's Wayne Rooney this summer.

Rooney has been widely linked with a move away from Old Trafford, with PSG one of a number of clubs reported to be monitoring proceedings.

"I love this player. Whenever I have played against him, he has scored. I would really like Rooney to sign for PSG. He would be a quality addition for us," Silva told reporters at a press conference.

United boss David Moyes is expected to hold talks with Rooney next week.
