Roma 'failed with £20m offer for Max Aarons'

Norwich City reportedly rejected a £20m offer from Roma for Max Aarons during the January transfer window.

The 21-year-old's future is currently the subject of much speculation, with Bayern Munich, Everton and Manchester United all said to be admirers of the right-back.

Aarons has been in strong form for the Canaries this term, scoring once and providing three assists in 34 appearances in all competitions, while he made 36 Premier League outings during the 2019-20 campaign.

According to The Sun, Norwich were approached by Roma last month, with the Italian outfit placing an offer on the table which could have potentially been worth £20m.

However, the report claims that the Championship outfit were not interested in selling the defender in the middle of the campaign, while they also believe that a higher fee could be secured this summer.

Daniel Farke's side are said to value the England Under-21 international in the region of £30m.
