Report: Louis van Gaal wants quick Jordy Clasie deal

Louis van Gaal has reportedly urged Manchester United to complete a deal for Feyenoord midfielder Jordy Clasie as soon as possible.

The Netherlands international has been linked with a move to Old Trafford, but Southampton and Aston Villa are also thought to have expressed an interest.

According to The Express, Van Gaal, who included Clasie in the Dutch national side during his time as Netherlands boss, has instructed the club's board to push through a quick transfer to ensure that they do not lose out to another team.

Clasie made 41 appearances for the Eredivisie side last season.
