Report: Manchester United join Leroy Sane hunt

Manchester United have reportedly entered the running to sign Schalke 04 attacker Leroy Sane.

The youngster has previously been linked with summer moves to a host of clubs, including Barcelona, Arsenal and Manchester City.

However, according to The Sun, the 20-year-old is now also on United's shortlist.

The report adds that Old Trafford scouts were attendance to see Sane score his ninth goal of the season during Schalke's 4-1 win over Hoffenheim at the weekend.

It is believed that the Bundesliga outfit value their asset at around £40m.
