Report: Man United enter Higuain race

Manchester United are prepared to challenge the likes of Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain for Gonzalo Higuain's signature, according to a report in Italy.

The Red Devils are expected to bolster their attacking ranks in the summer, with Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial the only senior strikers currently at the club.

Teenage centre-forward Marcus Rashford has recently burst onto the scene, but his ability to continue the form that has seen him score four goals in two games remains uncertain.

As a result, Corriere Dello Sport claims that Napoli frontman Higuain tops the Old Trafford outfit's wishlist.

The report adds that the 28-year-old, who has scored 25 Serie A goals this term, is valued at around £62m.
