Inter Milan attacker Ivan Perisic hints that he would like to play in the Premier League following intense summer interest from Manchester United and Liverpool.

Inter Milan attacker Ivan Perisic has revealed that it is his "dream" to play in the Premier League.

The Croatia international has been a long-term target for Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho and was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford during the summer.

Liverpool were also understood to be interested in Perisic during the previous transfer window only for the 29-year-old to stay at Inter, but he did suggest that a move to England is something that would interest him in the future.

"I have always said that [playing in the Premier League] is my dream," Perisic told reporters at a press conference.

"In football everything is possible, we will see in the future. Now, I'm focusing on Inter."

Perisic will be part of the Inter squad that takes on Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley in the Champions League this evening, with victory enough to send the Italians through at Tottenham's expense.
