Marc Overmars: 'Jasper Cillessen not for sale'

Ajax sporting director Marc Overmars insists that the club will not be selling rumoured Manchester United target Jasper Cillessen this summer.

Ajax sporting director Marc Overmars has insisted that the club will not be selling goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen during this summer's transfer window.

The Dutch international has been linked with a move to Manchester United should David de Gea complete his expected transfer to Real Madrid.

"Jasper is not for sale, not even for €25m (£17.8m)," Overmars is quoted as saying by The Mirror.

Cillessen has won three Eredivisie titles with Ajax, and helped the Netherlands to a third-placed finish at last summer's World Cup under now-United manager Louis van Gaal.
