Al-Nassr are reportedly pushing to sign Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes.
Al-Hilal were heavily linked with the Portugal international earlier this summer, but the attacker ultimately turned down the chance to make the move to the Saudi Pro League outfit.
"Manchester United said they didn't want to sell me," he said in June. "They said if I wanted to go I could, but they didn't need the money. I spoke to coach Ruben Amorim who, throughout that period, he was pushing for me not to go.
"I want to play at the highest possible level. I want to play major competitions. I know I still can and I want to be happy doing the thing I love the most. For better or worse, this is how I see football and I'm passionate about football and this is the decision I've made."
Al-Hilal are believed to have been willing to pay in the region of £100m for the 30-year-old, making it an incredibly lucrative deal for Man United.
Fernandes is the club's most influential player, though, scoring 98 goals and registering 86 assists in 290 appearances for the Red Devils since his arrival from Sporting Lisbon in January 2020.
Al-Nassr 'pushing to sign' Man United captain Fernandes
According to A Bola, there is fresh interest from Saudi Arabia, with Al-Nassr now pushing to sign the Portuguese before this summer's transfer window closes for business.
The report claims that Al-Nassr head coach Jorge Jesus, who managed Fernandes at Sporting, is pushing for a reunion, while Cristiano Ronaldo is also influential in the club's pursuit of him.
Contact has allegedly already been made, but Man United will once again battle to keep hold of the attacker, who is currently with the squad in the United States on a pre-season tour.
Al-Nassr have already brought in Joao Felix from Chelsea this summer, and they have also been credited with an interest in Man United attacker Antony, with the team desperate to win next season's Saudi Pro League title.
Fernandes was outstanding for Man United during a difficult 2024-25 campaign, managing 19 goals and 19 assists in 57 appearances in all competitions, including eight goals and 11 assists in the Premier League.
Could Al-Nassr sign Fernandes this summer?
A big-money sale of Fernandes would do a lot for the club's finances, but it would send completely the wrong message, as Man United cannot afford to lose a player of his ilk during a transitional period.
Fernandes is a truly outstanding player for the Red Devils; money in football talks, and Al-Nassr have plenty of it, but Man United are expected to resist the interest from a club that are now part-owned by Ronaldo.
