Jose Mourinho: 'Morgan Schneiderlin can leave for right price'

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho says that Morgan Schneiderlin can leave the club for the "right offer" during the January transfer window.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has revealed that Morgan Schneiderlin is likely to leave Old Trafford during the January transfer window.

Everton and West Bromwich Albion have both been linked with a move for the French international - who has only played 11 minutes in the Premier League this season - and Mourinho has insisted that he "has no right" to keep the player at the club if he is not going to get an opportunity to play.

The 53-year-old told reporters: "He opened his heart a couple of times. He is a great professional. A fantastic boy.

"If he is playing regularly I have a right to say no way. If not he is not playing regularly I have no right to say you are not going anywhere.

"If the offer is right and our board thinks the offer is good, I would not stop him to go."

Schneiderlin has made a total of 47 appearances for United since signing for the club in a £25m deal from Southampton last summer.
