Manchester United 'willing to pay Bruno Fernandes £150k per week'

Manchester United are allegedly willing to hand Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes a contract worth £150,000 per week.

Manchester United are reportedly willing to hand Bruno Fernandes a contract worth £150,000 per week.

Since the early days of the January transfer window, United have been in negotiations with Sporting Lisbon regarding a potential deal for the midfielder.

While Sporting allegedly prefer a straight-cash fee, United are open to including at least one player in order to reduce their financial outlay.

Regardless of the ongoing discussions, The Mirror claims that United have already decided on a lucrative deal for the playmaker, which will last until 2024.

The 25-year-old is keen to complete a move to Old Trafford, leaving the two clubs to reach some sort of a compromise in the coming days.

Sporting may wish to keep Fernandes until after the showdown with Benfica on Friday night.
