Sevilla goalkeeper Yassine Bounou reportedly emerges as a transfer target for Manchester United amid uncertainty over David de Gea's long-term future.

Sevilla number one Yassine Bounou has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Manchester United.

The Red Devils are facing uncertainty over the future of current first-choice goalkeeper David de Gea, who is due to become a free agent in under 18 months' time.

As a result, Man United are thought to be keen to bolster their shot-stopping ranks in the summer window, even with Dean Henderson waiting in the wings for opportunities.

According to The Mirror, Man United are now keeping a close eye on the situation of Sevilla's Bounou, who possesses a £25m exit clause in his Palanganas deal which expires in 2024.

However, the report adds that Sevilla are keen to tie the 30-year-old down to fresh terms with a release clause of £63m, while Atletico Madrid and clubs in Serie A are also in the hunt for his signature.

Bounou has kept 12 clean sheets in 23 La Liga matches for podium-chasing Sevilla this term and arrived at the club for just £3.6m from Girona in the summer of 2020.
