Manchester United are expected to be active during this summer's transfer window as they bid to put together a squad capable of launching a Premier League title challenge next season.

The Red Devils signed Bruno Fernandes and Odion Ighalo in January, but a number of new players continue to be linked with a move to Old Trafford ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings from Old Trafford.

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing defensive midfielder Idrissa Gueye from Paris Saint-Germain during this summer's transfer window.

The Red Devils are believed to have missed out on the Senegal international last summer when he left Everton for the French champions.

After just one season in Ligue 1, Le 10 Sport claims that Gueye could now be heading back to the Premier League with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.

The 30-year-old has made 33 appearances for Thomas Tuchel's side this season, including six in the Champions League ahead of their imminent return to European action.

Chelsea, Manchester United 'in battle for Alex Telles'

Manchester United are reportedly ready to battle Chelsea for the signature of Porto defender Alex Telles.

The 27-year-old enjoyed an impressive 2019-20 campaign for his Portuguese club, scoring 13 times and providing 12 assists in 49 appearances in all competitions.

Chelsea continue to be strongly linked with his services, but according to Correio de Manha, United are keen to bring the Brazil international to Old Trafford ahead of next season.

The defender could allegedly be available for as little as €25m (£22.8m) during this summer's transfer window as his contract at the Estadio do Dragao is due to expire next June.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Alexis Sanchez will sign a permanent deal with Inter Milan.

The Chile international has spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan with Inter and has been in impressive form for the Italian giants since returning to the field following the lockdown period.

Speaking to BT Sport following Wednesday's Europa League clash with LASK Linz, the United manager confirmed that the 31-year-old was joining Antonio Conte's side on a permanent deal.

Sanchez will leave Old Trafford having only managed five goals and nine assists in 45 appearances.
