Manchester United target Claudio Marchisio?

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is reportedly keen to recruit Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio this summer.

Ferguson is thought to have first lodged a bid for the Italian international back in 2010, but Juve rejected his approach.

However, amid reports that he is planning to overhaul his playing squad at the end of the campaign, Ferguson has decided to rekindle his interest in the 27-year-old, according to Tuttosport.

Marchisio, who joined the Italian champions as a trainee, made his debut back in 2006.
