Manchester United reignite Toni Kroos interest?

Louis van Gaal's likely departure reportedly convinces Manchester United to renew their interest in Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos.

Manchester United have reportedly decided to launch a second bid to lure Toni Kroos to the Premier League.

It was thought that the German midfielder, then of Bayern Munich, had all but agreed a switch to Old Trafford two years ago.

However, speculation at the time suggested that incoming manager Louis van Gaal had vetoed the move and Kroos instead sealed an £18m transfer to Real Madrid.

Now, though, with Van Gaal's future uncertain, The Mirror has claimed that the Red Devils are ready to renew their interest in the 26-year-old.

Kroos has featured on a regular basis this season, but there have been rumours of late that he has grown frustrated with life at the Bernabeu and is keen to continue his career elsewhere.
