Manchester United 'preparing £26m bid for Marcelo Brozovic'

Manchester United are reportedly preparing a £26m bid for Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.

The Red Devils have already agreed a deal with Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho and appear to be making progress in their pursuit of Real Madrid centre-back Raphael Varane.

However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are also believed to be keen to sign a new central midfielder during this summer's transfer window to boost their options for the 2021-22 campaign.

According to La Repubblica, the 20-time English champions are ready to offer £26m for the Croatia international, who featured four times for his country at Euro 2020.

The report claims that Barcelona are also keeping a close eye on developments, as the midfielder's contract at San Siro is due to expire at the end of next season.

Brozovic was a key player for the Italian champions during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring twice and providing seven assists in 42 appearances in all competitions.
