Eintracht Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp has reportedly been offered a £180,000-a-week contract to join Manchester United.
The Red Devils allowed Dean Henderson to join Nottingham Forest on loan this summer, leaving Tom Heaton as the only senior backup to David de Gea.
United have been linked with Benfica's Odysseas Vlachodimos and Leeds United's Illan Meslier, but a recent report also revealed that they were interested in signing Trapp.
According to The Sun, United have offered Trapp a £180,000-a-week contract that would see him earn between £9m to £10m per year.
Despite presenting the Germany international with a lucrative contract offer, United allegedly had an approach rejected by the Bundesliga club on Monday.
While Trapp admitted that it was "nice" to be linked with United, Frankfurt boss Oliver Glasner has expressed his desire to retain the services of the 32-year-old.
The goalkeeper, who has two years remaining on his current contract, has made 261 appearances for the German side.
