Valencia youngster Fran Villalba has rejected interest from Manchester United to sign a new four-year contract at the Mestalla.
The 18-year-old, who was handed his senior debut at Valencia last season by former Red Devils defender Gary Neville, was a target for Man United, according to the teenager's agent Vicente Flores.
It had been thought that the English giants would attempt to entice the midfielder with an offer in January, but the young Spaniard has decided to pen a new contract with Los Che.
"Very satisfied to have renewed for four years with the club of my life," Villalba wrote on Twitter. "I will keep working to play my part for this great club."

Villalba has made four first-team appearances for Valencia, but has yet to represent the Spanish giants this season.
