Edinson Cavani is reportedly undergoing a medical with Manchester United and will complete a move to the club on Monday.

Edinson Cavani will reportedly complete his Manchester United medical on Sunday night, with an official announcement on the centre-forward set to arrive on deadline day.

United have been linked with the 33-year-old sporadically over the last few months, but the speculation surrounding the former Paris Saint-Germain forward has intensified over the last 48 hours.

Cavani is said to have travelled to England on Sunday morning to undergo a medical with the Red Devils, and according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Uruguay international is on the verge of completing a deal.

Romano claims that agency fees, which could be as high as €10m (£9m), have been agreed, and the centre-forward will finish his medical examinations on Sunday evening ahead of joining on Monday.

The 20-time English champions are also allegedly poised to complete a deal for Porto left-back Alex Telles before this summer's transfer window slams shut.

United have only picked up three points from their three Premier League games this season and suffered a 6-1 home defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon.
